Insurance claim support in Wiltshire

Claims are settled on evidence. Readings, photographs, a stated cause and a scope that adds up — provided in the format an adjuster works with.

What it involves

Evidence, reports and a straight account of the work for your claim.

From the first visit we record the state of the property: photographs before anything is moved, moisture readings with locations, and a note of the cause where it can be established. Most disputes come down to something nobody wrote down on day one.

During drying we log equipment, run hours and daily readings. That record supports both the drying element of the claim and, where relevant, the electricity cost of running the kit, which many policyholders do not realise they can claim.

We deal with loss adjusters directly where you want us to, which most people do. We speak the same language about dry standards, scope and reinstatement, and it saves you translating between a surveyor and a builder.

At the end you get a drying report and a reinstatement record. If the claim is declined or partially met, that same evidence is what you would need to challenge it, so it is worth having regardless.

Questions

Asked most often.

+Do you charge for claim support?

The evidence and reporting are part of the job. We do not take a percentage of your settlement and we are not claims managers.

+Should I call you or my insurer first?

Stop the water first. Then call whoever you like — but do not wait for an insurer to authorise before you stop the damage getting worse. Policies expect you to mitigate.

+Can you work with my insurer's approved contractor?

Yes. We are often the drying and monitoring element on a job someone else is rebuilding, and the report goes to whoever needs it.

+What if my claim is declined?

You still have the readings, photographs and report. That is what you need to challenge a decision or to get a second opinion.

Coverage

Insurance claim support across Wiltshire

The claim arguments we meet are strikingly consistent by area. These are the recurring ones.

Trowbridge, Westbury and Bradford-on-Avon

TROWBRIDGE · WESTBURY · BRADFORD-ON-AVON

The recurring argument in the older Trowbridge and Westbury terraces is gradual damage. Insurers exclude damage that has occurred slowly over time, and a leak under a suspended timber floor can run for months unnoticed. Evidence about when it started — meter history, decoration dates, the condition of the joist ends — is what decides those claims.

Salisbury and Swindon are covered too — call 07971 435221 and we will tell you straight away whether we can get to you and when.
